YORK COUNTY, PA — The York County Regional Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old who was last seen in Manchester Borough on Wednesday. Officers identified the teen as Jonathan Rudacille and said they are trying to determine where he may have gone after he was last seen.
Police have not said why he was in the area or what led to the concern about his whereabouts. They are urging anyone who sees him or has information to contact 911 right away.
What police say Rudacille was wearing when he disappeared
Authorities released a description to help the community look for Rudacille. They said he is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown collar-length hair, brown eyes and a thin build.
Police said he was last seen wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black and white Converse shoes and a black face mask. Officials also said he may have had on a gray beanie or a baseball hat.
Possible locations include Manchester, Mt. Wolf and the Saginaw area
Investigators said Rudacille might be in Manchester, Mt. Wolf or the Saginaw area. Those locations remain the main areas police are asking residents to watch carefully while the search continues.
Because the teen is still missing, officers are treating any possible sighting as important. Police have not announced any additional leads, and no other details about where he may have traveled have been released.
How the community can help the search
York County Regional Police are relying on the public to pass along any information that could help locate the teen. Officials specifically asked people to call 911 if they have a possible sighting or know where he is.
That request suggests investigators want tips as quickly as possible, even if a person is not completely sure they have seen him. At this point, police have not released any further instructions beyond contacting emergency dispatch.
Why missing-person cases move quickly in the first hours
When police ask for immediate help in a missing-person case, they often do so because fresh information can narrow down where someone was last seen. In this case, the department has already identified a specific last known location and several nearby areas it wants residents to check.
The description, clothing details and possible locations give the public concrete information to use while reporting tips. Even small details can help officers determine whether a sighting is recent or tied to Rudacille’s last known movements.
Anyone with information should contact 911 immediately
The police department’s message is simple: anyone who knows where Rudacille is, or who believes they may have seen him, should call 911. Officers have not released a separate non-emergency number or said where additional updates will be posted.
For now, the search remains focused on finding the missing 16-year-old and confirming his location. Police are asking the public to stay alert in the York County communities they named and to report anything that could help.
