On Saturday, October 9, the Greer High School marching band headed to the festival of bands located in Boiling Springs. The band, better known as the “G-Force” competed along with four other local bands from South Carolina in class Xl. At six o’clock, drum major Zuyen Padilla took the field in competition, performing their 2021 show entitled “Thief”. That night, the G-Force took home a second place trophy along with the high visual award. The band would like to formally invite faculty and students of Greer to come view what could be the last performance of the season at upperstate. Upperstate will be held at Belton-Honea Path high school on October 23. (Time: TBA)
