Merit is a key aspect in education and life.  Ms. Gibson, a new addition to Greer’s English department, welcomes merit as a principle in her classroom and students’ lives.

Ms. Gibson is Lander University educated and a new teacher among the many new faces at Greer this 2020/21 school year.  Stemming from a deftness for English and a passion for education when participating in teacher cadet while in high school, Ms. Gibson is eager to start teaching and inspiring Greer students in English one and English three.

When asked for a piece of advice, Gibson stated, “…Always remember to be hardworking, strive for greatness, and put forth your best effort. Lastly, be kind to all! If you do these things, you will be successful! As a senior, I can attest to this advice.  So much of education and many other opportunities in life are determined by what you make of it.  This is why for a good life, you need to work hard.  An inevitable lesson for freshmen in Gibson’s class.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Gibson enjoys spending time with her dog, Dolly Grace.  During summer vacation, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and traveling.  Make sure to welcome Ms. Gibson, and work hard in her class, jackets!
