Congratulations to the Greer High marching band for placing 3rd at upper state yesterday! They are now off to the state competition this Saturday. Thursday night the band played after the football game against Eastside High.

Mr. Norman says, “It was outstanding and definitely one of our best performances of the year. That is what we shoot for. It was incredible.” The band is ready to face Chapin this weekend. They just hope it doesn’t rain. Jayna, a former student, apart of the marching band, says, “Though it was placed indoors, it was great. It felt crazy because we have never placed higher than fifth place. This was their final performance this year at Dooley field. On Friday, Greer high wore their band T-shirts to support the marching band.
