Crowds gather of workers, aristocrats, women, and children.  You see your family, friends, and peers. They all gathered here to watch you get crowned.  It’s not just royalty — it’s homecoming royalty. Carson Hannon was crowned homecoming queen last Friday, October 11th.

Carson described being crowned homecoming queen as an honor, and very sentimental.  It wasn’t judges in a pageant that voted for her, it was her own peers. Carson loves the homecoming at Greer.  She says that in our high school it is special since it is taken more seriously and very tradition based. A lot like Greer, it is a timeless tradition of our high school as well as a great representation of the community of Greer.
