This year Greer High celebrated its homecoming week with their annual homecoming dance and banner, hat, and float competition. The following grades won the competitions:

Winner of the banner: Juniors

Winner of the hat: Juniors

Winner of the float: Freshman

Mr. Blackwell said, “that he thinks it went well and it was how everyone expected it to go.”

As for the dance, the student government class said that it was “very fun” and a “success.” However, next year they plan of improving the decorations and the setup experience.

The student government is busy this month as they are also preparing for Spirit Week on October 25-November 1st.
