Cagle in the Spotlight
September 3, 2019
Sarah Cagle, a Junior and art student, won a competition, and two hundred dollars with her inland port piece. Sarah was surprised to have won the competition. She described being indifferent to Mrs. Duncan entering her work into the competition which added to her shock of her winning.
Although Sarah has proved herself as a young artist she says that, in the future, she does not see herself in art school or becoming an artist later on. Sarah described going into a creative career and used interior designer as an example.
Sarah, while not actively pursuing art as a career is a well rounded student, and an excellent example of Greer’s eclectic student body.
Congrats Sarah!
