Rollins and Anderson are Stars at Greer High

GREER– The Greer High School faculty and staff has recently elected Ms. Kellen Rollins and Ms. Sheila Anderson as the newest members of the Greer High All-Stars. This award recognizes faculty and staff at GHS who show strong engagement, care, and leadership during that month.

Ms. Anderson, a part of the GHS maintenance staff, works primarily in the downstairs hallways. You may see her also working diligently during all three lunches. Ms. Anderson is highly regarded by the staff and faculty of Greer High and know that our school is kept beautiful by her hard work.

Ms. Rollins, an English teacher, is in her first year teaching at GHS. She is actually a Greer High graduate and went on to Upstate to study to become a teacher. Ms. Rollins teaches 9th grade English and Creative Writing this semester.

When asked how she felt upon receiving the award, Rollins stated, “Being nominated by my fellow staff members for teacher of the month was an honor that I did not expect. I felt very grateful that my coworkers recognized me for this award.” Rollins also remarked that the community feel from Greer High is what she likes most about working here.
