Greer High School’s Service Learning Class, along with LEO Club has started the Annual third Block Challenge. All third block teachers and their classes are involved. Each class is in a competition to raise the most money and win a trip on the Jacket Express for lunch at Fuddruckers.

This proceeds raised from this challenge will help provide Christmas for ten Yellow Jacket families.

Something new this year is the Gingerbread House Competition. Students can make teams of one to three people to compete to see who can make the best gingerbread house. Students will be provided with a gingerbread house kit and will be allowed to bring on shoe box filled with additional items students can add to their gingerbread house. Make sure you sign up soon, either during lunch for with Mrs. Pruitt, there is a limit of ten teams per lunch! The cost to participate is $5 per team.

Events happening this week:

Third block teachers will be collecting money daily from students. You can purchase candy grams at lunch to send to someone. Also, Santa visits at all lunches.

Thursday- Monday: sign ups for Gingerbread Competition

Tuesday: Gingerbread Competition during lunches

Wednesday: Ugly Sweater day/ Hat day ( hat bands for $1) and Gingerbread Competition winners announced

Teacher Jean Passes: $20 for the week/ $5 for a day
