How to Balance Life Between School and Sports

Balancing school and sports can be quite difficult, but with the right mindset and the right amount of effort put in, you can conquer it easily. For me, my stress-relief is soccer, so my sport is actually what keeps me from staying stressed out. The day prior to any of my practices or games, I make sure to set out all my gear. This way, everything is easily accessible and I can get out the door quickly. I also have to make sure that if I have too much work, I cannot force myself to go to practice; school always comes first. I also like to make some down-time for myself, and because of this, I am able to relax. This means making yourself hot tea, starting yourself a bath, or sitting down to watch Netflix. Mental health is so important, so make sure to set some time for yourself. If you are beginning to get too stressed, lay down and try not to think about it. It is a challenge to constantly stay busy, but it also prevents you from ever being bored! Just remember: no matter what, you got this!
