Greer High School’s pep rally on Friday, October 12, 2018 was full of excitement and fun. During this hour of thrilling screams and hype, the homecoming court was held in the gym. Pictures were taken and music was playing, all thanks to the Greer High Marching Band. Maggie McMullen, a junior, said, “I think last Friday’s pep rally was lots of fun. I think that it is good for all the classes to be so involved together.” Savanna Fore, a senior and one of the homecoming representatives, said, “The pep rally was great and I feel like it really honored the time needed for the students. It was fun to be involved with the homecoming court.” Other events held besides the homecoming court was the “Best Hat Maker” contest and the sophomore class won. The last event was an entertaining game of musical chairs, ending with the juniors winning. Although there wasn’t time for the spirit stick, it was still an enjoyable pep rally, as always.
