Coach Dane Perry and Ms. Brown were named Greer High Staff and Faculty All Stars last month.

Debbie Brown works in the front office and directs the Miss GHS Pageant.  She is the friendly face of Greer High and even directs its Facebook page!

Coach Perry is an English teacher and girls soccer coach. When asked why he thought he was nominated for Greer All Star, Perry said, “I think that the Greer family is one that appreciated involvement and teachers who are visible both inside and outside of the classroom. I love working with high school students and seeing their growth, not only as students in the classroom but also social in clubs and athletically on the field.”

Coach Perry is very involved within the school, being on not only the Digital Leadership team but also the Professional Development team. He said that, “All of these give me opportunities to work with students and faculty in a variety of different areas that benefit our school and our community.”

Both Brown and Perry were humbled by their nominations. Perry remarked, “It is always an honor to be nominated for an award by your peers. It lets you know that people recognize the effort and time that you put into your work. It is an especially nice honor when you work amongst so many quality educators every day.”
