There are only so many days left before Halloween and the closing of October, but there is still time to throw in some screams and get spooky. Here is a list of 10 haunted attractions to get your boo on!

  • Madworld

Located near Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson off Interstate-85 South. Madworld was named named Greenville’s best haunted house, scariest house in SC and 10th scariest in the US! Despite the name, Madworld is also built for many fall festivities that include food trucks, bonfires, roaming characters etc.

  • Nightmare Hallows

Located near the Tyger River. On this 35 minute trail you will encounter twists and turns with hillbillies, clowns, chainsaws, and corn mazes with scarecrows to go along.

  • The Boneyard Trail of Terror

Located in Campobello, this is another heart racing trail that lasts about 35 minutes. On this trail you can become face to face with legends such as Jason, Michael, and Leatherface.

  • SCarowinds

As day turns to night the North and South Carolina state line has something spooky stirring. SCarowinds has 6 mazes to choose from, all with different themes. To get scared outside of the maze they have “scare zones” again each themed differently.

  • Fear Farm

In Blacksburg you will find another, named scariest haunted house 5 years in a row! Fear Farm has 3 attractions at 1 location plus the all new ‘Escape The Hotel 5 min.’ escape room. They have everything from zombies to insane asylums.

  • Trail of Terror

Located in Laurens, you can start your night off with a haunted hay ride then into your haunted trail. With many twists and turns you’re guaranteed a scare.

  • Kreepy Hollow

In Bishopville, Kreepy Hollow has 3 main attractions to offer including Zombie Breakout, Kreepy’s Haunted House, and Keepers Bus Ride. You can enjoy a clown tunnel, disfigured hillbillies, the two mile scary hayride, and haunted house.

  • Nightmare Dungeon

In Greenville expect screams and spooks from Nightmare Dungeon. Experience an all new kind of haunted house with special effects, scary sets, and actors. Entering this haunted house is like entering your very own horror movie.

  • Greenville Zombie Outbreak Haunted Trail and Zombie Shoot

Forget haunted houses when it comes between this and something else! Returning in the 2018 season and located in Greenville immerse yourself in this zombie themed attraction. On this haunted trail you can experience what an actual zombie apocalypse would be like and even get to do a zombie shoot.

  • Treedines Haunted Farm

Located in Peidmont, Treedines has two haunts they call Midnite Hill and The Forest. Some of the scenes are PSyko Sylum, Camp Crystal Lake, Santimazium, The Butcher, The Home and Underground.
