Greer High’s Career Expo
October 18, 2017
On Wednesday, October 11th, Greer High School held their annual Career Expo. Rick Schwartz is the teacher of the manufacturing classes at Greer and is also one of the reasons this Career Expo happens.
Manufacturing programs and businesses come during the school lunches and show their products to the students. This also gives students a preview of the kind of work environment they would be in. Students can go up to the tables and get to know all about the different programs and see if anyone wants to take the path of manufacturing. These tables handed out things like sunglasses and fidget spinners which made students want to go over to their table even more.
This is a great way for students to see if they want to embark in these types of careers.
