On Friday September 15, 2017, students of Greer High School showed all of their school spirit at the Pep Rally.

Students in all grade levels showed their school spirit by wearing certain colors throughout the entire day. Freshmen wore black and yellow, Sophomores wore gray, Juniors wore white, and Seniors wore black.

Students participated in games of “Hungry Like a Wolf,” where two students place a cookie on their forehead and cannot use their hands to get it in their mouth. They also played “Shake Your Wolf Tail,” where one student had a tissue box filled with ping pong balls and had to try to shake them all out while the second student will have to pick them up and toss them into a bucket.

Afterwards, all four classes competed for the spirit stick. The class that was the loudest overall was the juniors.

Lastly, there was the tug of war was between teachers and students. The teachers took the win, receiving the “Battle Belt” which is a wrestling belt with a “G” on it.

Tradition was followed as the Honor Choir lead the Alma Mater before students were dismissed.
