The Greer Yellow Jackets played Clinton’s Red Devils last Friday, September 1st. We won with a triumphant score of 41-0.

Some football players were asked how they felt about the come back the Jackets made. Junior, number 54, Jamal Rogers said, “I feel like it was a good comeback and we’ll have more blow outs.”

Junior, number 22, Ta Meric “Dre” Williams said, “We were on a mission and we had to accomplish that mission. We had to put the Byrnes week behind us, we had to come back stronger and that played off in practice.”

Coach Jackson was also asked how he felt about the comeback Jackson replied “We had a good week of practice. The guys came out, came back focused, ready to go, eager to get back out there and redeem themselves. So overall, good week.”

When he was asked if they would use the same strategies against Daniel this upcoming Friday, Jackson said, “Really it’s hard to say. Each game is different with different approaches and how we game plan … It’s the little things like that, studying film, make any corrections we may need during practice against this group we are going to face Friday.”

Jackson said that while they’re “not really going to use the same methods” that they used last game, he made a point that no matter what game you play, you need to bring your “A game.”

Come support our Jackets this Friday the 8th at Daniel in Central, SC. Make sure to wear your best Hawaiian apparel. Kick off will be at 7 o’clock.
