GREER — Greer High School’s defense was stellar Thursday night as the Yellow Jackets shutout Eastside High School, 20-0, in a Region 2-AAAA JV matchup at Dooley Field.
Greer freshman Cameron Martin caught two touchdown passes from junior quarterback Ahmad Mattison to give the Yellow Jackets (4-2) a 14-0 lead at Halftime.
Sophomore running back AJ Bolden scored on a run in the second half to make the final score, 20-0. Freshman placekicker Deybi Reyes kicked a pair of extra points for the Yellow Jackets.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action Thursday night as they host Region 1-AAAA Greenville High School at Dooley Field. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
