GREER — The Greer High School Volleyball Team took a step out of conference play Tuesday night as the Yellow Jackets swept passed West-Oak High School, 25-21, 25-13, 25-17, at Greer High School.

Greer (7-8) was led by senior Lindsey Jarecki’s 12 kills, eight assists, seven digs, two aces and two block assists. Senior Tori Schneider added two kills, 12 assists, eight digs and two block assists.

Senior Autumn Bridwell finished with three kills, eight digs and two block assists, while senior Mary Frances Edwards added two kills, one ace, five assists and 14 digs.

Senior Candace Jensen finished with eight kills, one ace, four solo blocks and one block assist, while freshman Gabi Edwards added 14 digs and one assist.

The Yellow Jackets’ JV Team swept passed West-Oak, 25-11, 25-18.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action Thursday night as they travel to Union County High School for a Class AAAA, Region 2 match. The JV Match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with the Varsity Match scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
