GREENVILLE — The Greer High School JV Football Team remained undefeated Thursday night as the Yellow Jackets ran past Southside High School, 28-14, in a Region 2 Conference game at Southside High School.

Freshman Wide Receiver Matthew Huff scored on the Yellow Jackets’ first possession to give Greer High School a 7-0 lead. Southside High School then tied the game before Freshman Quarterback Trey Houston scored on a Quarterback keeper.

After taking a 21-8 lead at Halftime, Sophomore Running Back J.J. Sitton scored the Yellow Jackets’ final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

With the win, the Yellow Jackets move their record to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

The Yellow Jackets’ JV Team will end its season with its annual match up with rival Blue Ridge High School Thursday night at Dooley Field. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 pm.
